History
It all started when I was around 13 years old. I started off with
Geocities. I still remember the times when I didn't have any experience with HTML, so I had to use pre-made layouts. Those were fun to look at and apply to my site, but you know, I wanted to play with the codes a little bit. It was fun. My Geocities site was similar to my current site. It was a
Personal site with manual blogs, photos, cliques, etc.
Later, I decided to take a break from maintaining my own site, and started using Xanga to blog about my life. I did that because I felt that I could not maintain my own website at the time, yet I didn't want to give up on my online life, which why I used Xanga as a compromise. Since they had certain "rules" about templates, I took advantage of their default templates, designed, and coded my own Xanga layout. Since my xanga site was immortalviolinist, I dedicated my layout to classical music. It was nice. ^^
Toward the end of my middle school years [when I was 14], I felt like making my own site again. This time, I switched over to Freewebs. At first, I wanted it to be a blog where I link to few of my close [offline] friends who also had their sites [at the time]. I kept it online throughout my whole freshman year of high school.
I forgot from which site exactly, but it was after I stumbled across a "kawaii/cute pixel-ish" site that I wanted to create my site of the similar type. I decided to switch from Freewebs to Awardspace to start over. Another reason is because of the site name. I named my new site Pure Innocence. In addition to adoptables and other graphics, I began writing fanfictions [all of which are now lost because I didn't back-up my files *sigh*] of the series Slam Dunk.
I think it was within several months after I opened my site with Awardspace that I found myself my first private host. I feel terrible because I forgot her name...But I do remember that the website I was hosted under was Kawaii-Princess.NET. I kept my site name Pure Innocence under that host for about a year. However, she sent out an email telling us to find another host before she shuts down her site. So I did, thereby allowing me to meet my second host [ex-host] Mahala from Pixelated Stars. That's also when I changed my site name to Harmonic Justice.
Mahala was a great host. She helped me with CuteNews installation, she was very friendly, and she kept us up-to-date with everything! I stayed with her for a little over 18 months. However, she had to shut down her site too. She warned all of her hostees about it. But I failed to find another host before she shut down her site, thereby causing me to lose all of my files. [Note to self: ALWAYS have back-ups!] Fortunately, once I contacted her, she was kind enough to refer me to her host Jade. Again, I have changed my site name, this time to Bellue.
It is thanks to connections that I was able to find my current host Jade who owns CBD Hosting. Both Mahala and Jade saved me from disappearing into the thin air in the CyberWorld. I thank you both!
